Pistol Skills - 1st Shots

This course is an entry-level pistol class for those with minimal or no formal firearms experience who wish to learn how to safely, and confidently handle firearms in a low pressure, non-judgmental environment.  

Whether you already own a handgun or are exploring the idea of purchasing your first, this class will equip you with the confidence, skills, and knowledge needed to enhance both your personal safety and the security of your family.

Semi-Auto vs Revolver

Ammunition Types and Calibers

Iron Sights vs Red Dot

Loading and Unloading

Fundamentals of Shooting

Required Equipment: 

• Semi-Automatic Handgun
• 50 Rounds of Ammunition
• Eye + Ear Protection (Available upon Request)
• Note Taking Materials
• An Open Mind

This class is 2 hours in length with approximately 1 hour in the classroom and an hour of range time.  

This is a low pressure class where attendees should feel free to ask questions and take their first shots without undo stress.  

There are no prerequisites for this class except for a willingness to learn in a fun and educational setting.  

Handgun rentals are available upon request for those that do not currently own a firearm.
